Ensuring Best Results – Resurfacing AfterCare
To ensure the best results, your new Pour-a-Glaze surface needs 24 hours at 25ºC to cure. This curing time may be longer in colder temperatures. Before using your new bath, make sure the surface is hard enough that it won’t mark with your fingernail. Also, keep doors and windows shut during the first 24 hours to prevent any dust, water, or other materials from falling into the new surface. Once the surface is fully cured, it is ready to use. Prolonging the curing time can make the Pour-a-Glaze resin even harder, especially in high-traffic environments.
Regular Cleaning
Regular cleaning with a wet face washer or microfibre cloth and cream cleanser will keep your new bath looking shiny and new. However, please note that the guarantee will be voided if bleaches or ammonia-based cleaners are used, as they can cause yellowing and staining, and dull the surface.
Maintenance & Care
While the Pour-a-Glaze bath re enamel is designed to provide many years of service, no surface coating is indestructible. To keep your new bath in top condition, be mindful of potential damage from falling objects, avoid harsh cleaning methods that may cause scratching, and consider that prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays (excessive sunlight) can cause yellowing. Covering the window with a blind can reduce this effect.
